Stou Singer in the heart of Kyperounta offers a warm retreat for anyone looking to combine the simple joys of good coffee and hearty local dishes in a mountain village setting. Primarily a coffee shop and lunch restaurant, this spot draws in locals and visitors who appreciate a laid-back environment where the pace slows down and the local flavors come to the forefront.

Set just steps away from the village square, Stou Singer provides a casual, welcoming atmosphere that fits neatly into the rhythm of village life. It’s the kind of place where mornings feel unhurried, perfect for enjoying a coffee or freshly made smoothie alongside something from their distinctive menu, such as traditional Χορτόπιτα (green pie) or Κυπερούντα Πιτσα (Kyperounta-style pizza). These homemade-style dishes reflect the regional character, giving visitors a taste of the season’s local produce and mountain recipes.

The spot also enjoys regular visits around brunch and lunch time, when the light through the windows highlights the cozy, rustic décor and the quiet buzz of friendly conversation. Many appreciate the dog-friendly policy here, making it easy for locals and travelers alike to settle in comfortably with their pets. The staff’s approachable and helpful nature adds to the feeling that you’re stopping by a neighbor’s kitchen rather than a purely commercial café.

If you’re exploring the village or enjoying a slow walk through the nearby Christmas Village in winter, Stou Singer is a natural pause for a warming cup of coffee paired with the regionally beloved treat, "Milokrema," a creamy dessert that pairs effortlessly with their coffee offerings. Summer months bring the option of sitting outside, soaking in the fresh mountain air, while cooler days invite visitors to linger over ice cream with mountain tea or one of their rich, homemade pies.

Stou Singer works well for those who appreciate food and drink connected to place — a lunch spot where local ingredients tell a story and each bite carries a bit of Kyperounta’s character. It’s ideal for travelers wanting a genuine slice of village life as well as locals who seek a friendly, relaxed atmosphere for brunch, coffee, or a casual lunch any day of the year.

Very very nice brunch place. Today was a reopen. Service totally great ! Helpful and kind. Pancakes, omletes, haloumii just amazing. We took brunch for two- all you need for starter the day in mountains. Omlette with croisant was amazing. Mountain tea is a cherry on the top with icecream and apple cream as a set. You can seat and just enjoy lazy morning Place is dog friendly! So we really pricitiate your hospitality ! You are an amazing team. TOP 3 in whole Cyprus. P.S Just please do not serve olives with garlic next to sweet creams with pancakes - it broke all the taste on the plate with garlic smell.

Yesterday at lunchtime, I visited a lovely spot in Kyperounda, located just across from the village square where the Christmas Village is set up each year. It’s the perfect place to combine a festive walk through the village with a cozy meal, especially during the holiday season. The atmosphere immediately puts you in a warm, cheerful mood — charming, welcoming, and ideal for a relaxed winter outing. Although the place offers options for lunch and dinner as well, we went specifically to try their brunch, and we were absolutely satisfied. I ordered the Cypriot shakshuka, which consisted of eggs cooked in a rich tomato sauce with loukaniko, halloumi, and two slices of fresh village bread. It was hearty, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We also tried the avocado bread with bacon, egg, and cherry tomatoes, and that was equally delicious — well-balanced, fresh, and very nicely presented. You can really tell that they put care into their dishes. The space itself is warm and cozy, perfect for a mountain village setting, and the service was friendly and accommodating. Even though our reservation was for 2 p.m., we were delayed coming from Nicosia and ended up arriving closer to 3 p.m., which is when brunch normally ends. I called ahead to inform them, and they were incredibly kind about it — they assured us they would make it work, and thanks to their flexibility, we were still able to enjoy their brunch. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to spend a pleasant Sunday afternoon or a holiday break in Kyperounda. Lovely atmosphere, delicious food, and great hospitality — highly recommended, especially during the Christmas season!
